Job description
- Leading in the development and enforcement of Information Security procedures, and standards.
- Identity and access management: Ensuring that only authorized people have access to restricted data and systems.
- Program management: Keeping ahead of security needs by implementing programs or projects that mitigate risks — regular system patches, for instance.
- Cyber risk and cyber intelligence: Keeping abreast of developing security threats, and helping the board understand potential security problems that might arise from acquisitions or other big business moves.
- Investigations and forensics: Determining what went wrong in a breach, dealing with those responsible if they are internal, and planning to avoid repeats of the same crisis.
- Perform regular audits to ensure security practices are compliant.
- Setup and monitor internal and external policy compliance.
- Ensure cybersecurity stays on the organizational radar.
- Security operations: Real-time analysis of immediate threats, and triage when something goes wrong.
- Data loss and fraud prevention: Making sure internal staff does not misuse or steal data.
- Security architecture: Planning and rolling out security hardware and software and making sure IT and network infrastructure is designed with best security practices in mind.
- Work with IT operations to set up a shared disaster recovery/business continuity plan.
- Informing users about security measures, potential threats while implementing security measures and monitoring the information systems assets.
- Act as an advisor to all end users and conduct security awareness training
- Research and keep up to date on IT security advancement and introduce appropriate enhancement in the organization when required.
- Work closely with global, region CISO and customer security team for security incident relating to security risk/issue and escalate to respective people immediately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, and information systems or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in Information Security Analyst, IT Security Management, and Security administrator, etc.
- Strong command of information security measures, IT security
- Knowledge of enterprise security architecture and engineering, security frameworks (NIST, ISO, ENISA, etc.) and digital forensics.
- Must know a various operating system, including Linux and Windows and familiar with firewalls, intrusion detection protocols, and intrusion prevention measures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong communication, leadership, and strategic decision-making skills
- Must have hands-on experience with IT Operation and execution, IT Infrastructure.
- Able to work independently & strong analytical skills.
