Cyber security engineer

Scope of Work:

• Security Operations (WAF, Proxy): Assist in the operation and management of security tools such as Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and Proxies to strengthen the organization's security posture.
• Vulnerability Assessment: Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
• Security Testing:
  • Vulnerability Assessment: Regularly conduct assessments to identify security weaknesses and ensure timely remediation.
  • Penetration Testing: Coordinate and manage penetration test projects with external pentesters to simulate real-world attacks and identify vulnerabilities.
  • Automated Testing: Utilize automated tools, including Docker scanning, to detect and address security issues at an early stage.
• Patch Management: Participate in the implementation and maintenance of patch management processes to ensure that all systems and software are up-to-date and protected against known vulnerabilities.
• Incident Response: Respond promptly to security incidents, conduct thorough investigations, and mitigate any security breaches as necessary.
• Security Awareness: Promote security awareness and best practices among employees to emphasize the importance of security in their work.
