Job description
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Lead and monitor team in tax submission and the financial data submission.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (TFRS, GAAP), tax regulations and company policies.
- Manage and mentor the Accounting - SAP team.
- Review and approve the preparation of monthly financial statements of serviced companies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve and streamline GL accounting processes across the business
- Prepare and present financial analysis and reports to senior management, providing insights on variances and trends.
- Support the Revenue Department as a key contact point.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to deep review of financial data, enhance automation, and increase efficiency within the Shared Service Center.
- Act as a key point of contact for resolving accounting issues of each company.
Qualifications
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPD, CPA, etc.) is required.
- 7-10 years of experience in GL accounting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a Shared Service Centre or multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (TFRS/GAAP) and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team, with strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
