Job description
- Research: Provide timely and targeted legal and factual research.
- Regulatory: Review and develop understanding of national and regional regulatory regimes that will have an impact on CDG Group.
- Contract Drafting and Review: Draft and review training materials, substantive presentations, contractual provisions, letters, memoranda and other written communications and agreements. Understand CDG Group's form contracts and local market requirements.
- Legal Analysis: Read and analyze statues, regulations, and legal documents in Thai and English.
- Compliance: Advise leadership and management on compliance matters including anti-bribery, competition, data protection, whistleblowing, etc.
- Special Projects: Work with head of legal and compliance department on special projects or other legal works as assigned.
- Litigation: Support labor disputes, or other legal disputes and deal with dispute resolution matter and liaise with outside legal counsels.
Qualifications
- Thai nationality, age between 30-40 years old
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Law
- 7-8 years of experience in the legal field
- Working experience in legal & compliance field at information technology company is preferable
- Computer literacy in MS.Office (Microsoft Word and PowerPoint)
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with the team
- Able to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure
- Good command of English both in spoken and written
- Having a licensed Attorney and Thai Barrister will be an advantage
