Job description
· Plan product ranges and assortment with Merchandising Director as well as assist in meeting with suppliers and other distributors as well as negotiating quantities and delivery timetables.
· Mainly responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of merchandising strategies from the initial selection process to final retail execution
· Managing purchasing budgets and analyzing data and trends to predict sales and profits as well as assess performance of different ranges. Need to manage levels and distribution of stock. Handling supply/production problems as they arise.
· Tracking inventory movement and systematically introducing promotions, sales, price changes, etc.
· Collaborate with Sales department in interpreting sales reports and work together to improve on sales figures and increased customer engagement. Work on setting stock promotions or price reductions as well as doing detailed sales analysis results.
· Work closely with Marketing department to brainstorm new collaborations, campaigns, projects and business ideas and also to create eye-catching store layouts that showcase the aesthetic and lifestyle of the brands represented. Active in identifying trends and lifestyle and monitoring supply and demand.
Qualifications
• Male or Female, age between 25-35 years
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Retail or any related field is an added bonus
• Good command of English and computer literacy is necessary
.• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• At least 3-5 years of experience in children's products would be an advantage
